TENAX Group chooses VTECRM for managing business information

The Italian group TENAX has adopted the open source platform VTECRM for sharing and spread of business information in the headquarters and among the various branches in the world

Verona-London, 16.09.2014. The Italian industrial group TENAX (www.tenax.it) – a world leader in the stone processing industry – has chosen VTECRM as a platform for the spread and sharing of corporate information between the Italian offices and the foreign branches located in the USA, Brazil, Spain, India, Turkey, Iran, South Africa and China.

The CRM open source project, developed by CRMVILLAGE.BIZ of Verona – Italian  master partner of the Italian-English software company VTECRM LTD – collects needs and requests for information from over than 200 users connected to the system who have a dedicated home page that provides updated data in the form of charts and tables (business trends, KPIs, revenue estimates, production commitments, branch budgets) and communications in the form of online boards on which each user can read or publish alerts, information and corporate news and sector RSS.

The starting point of the solution is the data of all TENAX customers in the world that are the bridge for sharing the technical and commercial actions of the various Business Units of the group.

Both the sales network and the technical staff, in fact, enter their reports in VTECRM on a daily basis using the Business Relationships and Technical Reporting Modules, which are the field of actions or alerts triggered by linked modules or specific workflows based on certain fields selected during the creation of reports. For example, selecting a particular project in progress will automatically alert the users of the various affiliates involved in that Project, or will create a Task for the Technical Department.

The Shared Calendar of VTECRM has been made public to foster interaction between all users of different branches and is used as the main calender by all Group companies.

The next planned development will be the creation of a module dedicated to Global Market Analysis (by geographic area, business division and product category) that will be used as a database for geolocation of such information.

Starting from the VTECRM database, a dedicated Customer Portal, called “Tenax Space” (https://tenaxspace.tenax.it) has also been launched. Through a private login, the customer can consult his history (Invoices, Orders, and Schedule), dedicated lists, latest news and business information (Newsletter, Tutorials, Applications and Product Search) and can also perform product orders or request  of offers for new products.
